Joe Dougherty, Vice President

Joe Dougherty has been a trusted advisor to leading corporations, financial institutions, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations for nearly twenty years, during which time he has worked in more than thirty countries. After receiving an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an MA in international economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, Mr. Dougherty went to work for A.T. Kearney, a leading global management consultancy, in New York and Bangkok. He went on to work for Deloitte & Touche’s Emerging Markets Group, leading projects for the World Bank, US Agency for International Development and other clients.
Mr. Dougherty now serves as the Director of the Global Business Initiative at UNCW’s Cameron School of Business as well as an Adjunct Professor in the Cameron School’s Professional MBA program.
